Regeneration - in Reality!

I saw this story on the news this past week, and it was amazing. A portion of a man's finger - regrown by the latest in regenerative medicine. (And he's not even a cheerleader or 400-year-old Samurai!)

Here are a couple of links to stories about it, in case you missed it, or want to come back to it someday:

The news story I saw said that the US Military will be working with researchers, attempting to help veterans maimed during service.

One day, this could lead to exciting possibilities for accident victims everywhere. It sounds like magic, or science fiction. But, as a smart person once said:

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
