Favorite Foto Friday - Above Flowing Lava - Repost

My Blogger statistics tell me that no one has ever seen this post from 2010.  I find that hard to believe, but you really don't need to go there because I am reposting the photo today.

For our 25th anniversary, Sherry and I took a trip to Hawaii.  We happened to be there on my birthday, and as a birthday present, Sherry took me on a helicopter ride (our first ever) above Kilauea, an active volcano on the "Big Island" of Hawaii.

While up there, we were directly above the flowing lava, and I got this photo, which is definitely still one of my Favorite Fotos!
