June, 2011.
Sherry is home for the summer.
We will get to spend almost two weeks on vacation with our children.
Grilling and eating meals outside is now possible.
Light lasts until well into the evening.
For all these reasons, it is very important to slow down time for the next three months. We must savor every minute. We cannot let these experiences speed by.
Perhaps, just perhaps, there are things in our Fall future which will be good. OK, certainly there will be. But for now, we will not look toward them. For now, we will live the moments we have.
For the next few days, Sarah & Troy will be with us. What a treat. Without classes & homework, Sherry is able to spend a little time in her kitchen. It is my responsibility and joy to relish both of these things!
Next week? That's not until next week. I will enjoy it when it comes.
Usurpo diem.
