A different sort of "Favorite" today. The photo is OK. The phlox in the back left are so beautiful in the spring. But what makes this a "favorite" to me is the satisfaction of having used a bit of my time a couple of weeks ago to rebuild this fire pit. We try to have a fire a couple of times a year. Now we have something more than just a few rocks lining the pit. I'm happy with the result. It's not a major undertaking with cement and all -- nothing to compare to Karen & Doug's wonderful pit/patio -- but I did it myself and it gives me a smile.
I hope I can have my kids gather around it for some s'mores soon.
