Kevin Seifert (once of the Star Tribune, now of ESPN.com) has a great article for people who care about the Purple. Are we seeing a better team now than we saw in 1998?
If you had to name one Viking team as the best since the last Super Bowl Viking team in Super Bowl IX, would it be this year's team?
Well, the year isn't over, so I won't say it yet. 1998 was special!
But if the stats Seifert lays out through 5 games hold for the year, and the Vikings make it at least to the NFC Championship game, then, yep -- this might be it.
