I like quotes. People who have said something clever or wise in succinct or memorable ways deserve credit for their efforts. Today, I have two quotes about quotes.
The serious:
All truly wise thoughts have been thoughts already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.

The sarcastic:
Everything of importance has been said before by somebody who did not discover it.

So, there you have it. Read a quote today, and take it to heart. Then tell it to someone. You'll have proven both men right. :-)
