Though on the low end of the comic book movie spectrum, Daredevil has
a special place in my heart. Besides,
Jennifer Garner as Elektra is worth the viewing all by herself, IMHO. Broad
characters, choppy writing, but fun combat and nice visuals. I put the low
quality on the director. We know Colin Farrell and Ben Affleck can give more
nuanced performances, even with subpar writing.

What can I say. The mood is perfect. The story hangs together. The characterizations are charming and
thrilling. The effects enhance and
draw you in, rather than amaze or distract.
Fantastic.
[A great movie to have
on while preparing an adventure for Dungeons and Dragons.]

A classic that is well worth
the label. I had forgotten some of it, but then again, there is a lot of it, so forgetting some over the
course of a couple of decades is understandable.

Some really fun action –
much of it which looked just like video game action, so they succeeded in
that. The story had some very big
logic holes, which would have been fixed with just a few lines of comic-book
dialog, though. Hard to recommend, but I’m glad I saw it.

I knew it was a Texas Hold ‘Em movie, and that’s all. It was more than that. Liked it a lot.
