Troy wanted to play Talisman. He died. Twice. This demonstrates the capriciousness of luck.
Sarah had some really bad luck, taking a lot longer to get to the Crown of Command than probability would normally allow. (Four losses in Dice With Death?; Six rolls under four at the Crown of Command?) This gave Sherry the chance to grab all the stuff Troy lost when his Sorceress died. Which also gave her the resources to make a run of her own, and a Hex that caused Sarah to become a Toad. A toad! (A One! She rolled a One!)
So, yes, once again, Sherry won. And in the time it took for Harry Potter 6 to play in the background, a game of Talisman was completed.
