Katee Sackhoff playing a weak woman?

This latest season of "24" has a character played by Katee Sackhoff, pictured to the left in her role as Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica. Starbuck was an ultra-tough pilot, who took far less crap than she gave, and she had massive skills in combat of all sorts.

Her "24" character? Dana Walsh. She started well, looking strong and smart. But then, sure enough, she gets leaned on by an old boyfriend who knows her secrets. [How does CTU, a government intelligence agency, always hire people with big secrets in their past?] I keep expecting Katee to just kick him up and down the street.

Look, I'm happy to see Ms. Sackhoff get a good role. She's a fine actress. I hope she ends up having a nice career on network TV, and even in film.

But before this season of "24" is over, I sure hope she knocks this guy into tomorrow.
