Real Mourning

Yesterday I used the word "mourning."

Today it is real. A friend and colleague, Craig Johnson, died in a weather-related car accident yesterday. I found out this morning.

This is real mourning.

Craig was as pleasant, considerate and enjoyable person to be around as you can find in your professional life. I traveled with him, worked with him, joked with him.

I am better off in my life for having known him.

My thoughts and prayers will go out to all who knew him, but most especially to his wife and two daughters.
