Interception ladder - The key to the Championship

Interception ladder shows impact of picks in NFL playoff history - Kerry J. Byrne - SI.com

Mr. Favre has been amazingly in control of his passes this year. 33 TDs in the regular season, with only 7 interceptions. And then 4-0 in the game last weekend.

Mr. Brees did as well [almost] at 34 TDs with 11 INTs. He added 3-0 to that statistic in the divisional round.

So, we have QBs who are taking care of the ball. Given the high-scoring offenses they have, it's going to be critical to avoid those passing turnovers again. Look at the link at the top of this post. If your team has zero INTs in the playoffs, history says you have a 78.9% chance to win.

Of course, if neither team throws a pick, someone has to win. But a focus this game will be "don't force it."

Come on Viking Defense -- get Brees climbing that Interception Ladder.

Brett & Brad -- keep #4 off the ladder. We don't want him to fall.
