Though I am on vacation, I will blog to say this:
World of Warcraft is fun!
Was there any doubt? I like the Diablo franchise; this is similar, from the same company. Every gamer I know who has tried WoW has liked it. They've said I'd like it. I do.
And, on top of that, I was able to introduce Mike to the wonders of Yahoo Messenger Voice Chat, which made it sound like we were in adjoining rooms, rather than 1500 miles apart.
I'm a Troll Rogue.
I haven't really figured out the movement yet -- but if I keep at it a while, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. [Not as well as Lucas and Adam have; never; that's a given.]
And I was able to get started despite taking Leah to the E.R. And despite having a box of sleeved Magic cards just waiting for deck building. And despite the cold I'm coming down with (I think it's been since March that I've had one.)
Vacation is good.
[Leah has a splint on her wrist. With luck, it's just a bruise and/or sprain. Otherwise we'll be back in a week to cast the break.]
